Using Pacific Pharmacy software at Middlefield Campus J3

Using VMware Fusion system

  1. Choose Mac OS from the boot menu

    Use the arrow keys to select the Mac OS icon
  2. Log in with username pharmacy and password mc

  3. You must make sure you're connected to the network before you do anything else. If the network icon near the top right corner of the screen is bold, you're already logged in.

    You can proceed to the next step if the network is ready

    If you aren't connected, click the icon and choose Foothill Lab from the menu.

    Proceed to step 4 once you've joined the network
  4. The Virtual Machine Library will automatically open. Choose Pacific Pharmacy Computers using the arrow keys. Do not choose the Boot Camp partition.

  5. Windows XP will start automatically and launch RxWin Pacific Pharmacy Computers.

  6. Log in with username Pharmacy and password mc.

    Continue to the next step after logging in.
  7. Select the Rx icon on the top left side to start making labels.

  8. When printing, you must first type the number 2 and press Enter when the following screen appears.

  9. Your labels will come from the printer which number corresponds to your row. (Row 1 will print to Pharm 1, Row 2 will print to Pharm2, and so on.) Please be patient for lables to print

  10. When you are finished with the program, exit by typing stop and choose Exit from the File menu. If you accidentally log off there is a shortcut on the desktop to restart the program.

  11. Shut down Windows by choosing Shut Down from the Start Menu.

  12. Quit the Virtual Machine Library by clicking the red button on the left side.

  13. Log off of the computer by clicking the Apple icon in the top left corner and choosing Log out Pharmacy.

Troubleshoot

If the program is not working, move your mouse to the top of the screen, choose Virtual Machine Library, and choose the CTRL+ALT+DEL option. When the Task Manager comes up, select the program and click End Task.
