Using MySabre at Middlefield Campus

Starting Windows on a dual-boot Mac

You'll need to start Windows before you can use MySabre. If Windows is already running, or you're not using a dual-boot Mac, you can skip to the next section.

The Boot Camp menuIf the computer is off: move the mouse or touch a key to make sure it's not in sleep mode. If nothing happens, press the power button in the bottom-left corner of the back of the machine. When it boots, you'll see a Windows logo and an Apple logo. Use the arrow keys to select the Windows logo and press Return.

Restarting a Mac If Mac OS is running and a user is logged in: click the apple icon in the top left corner of the screen, choose Restart... from the menu, and click Restart at the prompt. The prompt asking if you want to restart.

If the machine is at the OSX login prompt: click the Restart button and select Windows as described above.

Logging in to MySabre under Windows

Once Windows has started, press Control-Alt-Delete at the prompt. (On a Mac keyboard the Alt key is also the Option key, so the combination will be Control-Option-Delete.) At the login window, enter middlefield as the username, mc as the password, and make sure Log in to: is set to Middlefield.

Once you've logged in, a window with the Computer User Agreement will come up. Click "yes" if you have read and agree to the terms.

To use MySabre, start Internet Explorer and go to http://my.sabre.com. (Note that you can't access the service in any other browser.) At the prompt, type your MySabre agent ID (only the numbers after SI*), password, and PCC. These are not case-sensitive.

Internet Explorer may bring up prompts asking you about running Java applets. If it does, click OK to close them. If an information bar saying "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer blocked this site from downloading files to your computer" appears at the top of the page, click on it and choose Download file. Click OK if any security alerts come up.

If at any time the process fails or reports an error, close Internet Explorer and try again. If this doesn't work, go to Start, then Turn Off Computer, choose Restart, and start over from the beginning. If the problem persists, inform the teacher or Middlefield staff and move on to another machine.
